Effects and influences of the primary air filter
Effects: Used to do the primary protection filtration and return air filtration. As the pre-filtering device, primary air filters can effectively extend the service life of the HEPA filter.
Influences: The service life of the HEPA filter will be shorten if the primary air filter not be changed at regular intervals, because of that after period time of working, HEPA filters will be blocked by the heavy dust.
Service Life
Under normal use conditions, the primary air filters’ service life is around 3months. If overused, the filtering effect drops, so we must change them regularly, normally 4times a year. It’s just a theoretical data, sometimes it depends on the actual situation. So air filter users should test the volume of the dust, if the amount is over the specified quantity, even though the using time is less than 3months, air filter users also should change them.
Clean the air filter
To primary air filters which contain lots of dust, users should take them down and use a blower to clean them or just use the water to wash them clean. TAGUTI suggests air filter users that do not reuse the filters more than 2times, because after several times reuse, the filtering effect is not good. To those filters with oil, TAGUTI will not suggest users wash them with water, due to that water can not make the filters which is with oil clean. TAGUTI advise their users to change them directly.
