Swiss GF Agie Charmilles Group has been renamed to GF Machining Solutions from GF Agie Charmilles since 1st January, 2014. This change has emphasized Georg Fischer AG (GF) is a group company owning three business units.
At present GF Agie Charmilles has developed into an industrial enterprise, which provides milling machine, EDM, laser technology, cutter, automation equipment and customer service for clients all over the world.
New name has showed professional degree of communication and capacity of extending the customers as one business unit, and has spread the concept “GF always focuses on you!”.
GF Machining Solutions is easier for existing and potential customers to remember. It is no longer a supplier of machine tools, but a business unit of a group. Clients will gradually pay more attention to new design of GF website and sales documents with change of name.
